Existentail Training Opportunity Beginning in November
In November, a new training opportunity will be available for training in existential therapy. This will consist of a readings group which meets once a month. The schedule will be posted at www.depth-psychotherapy-institute.com. The readings group will be hosted by Dr. Louis Hoffman and will meet once a month.
Participation in the Existential Reading Group is currently free. You must sign up for the group with Dr. Hoffman and you will receive directions at this time. The group will meet for 3-hours once a month. Regular attendance is encouraged. Certification options may be available in the near future. The reading group is open to the community for appropriately trained individuals as determined by being a mental health professional or in graduate school for a mental health degree. On some occasions, non-mental health professionals may be allowed to attend; however, professionals and students always will have first opportunity. Though we don’t expect to run out of space, the number of participants is limited. Regular attendees will have first priority.
Taking for Course Credit: If you desire to receive credit through the Colorado School of Professional Psychology, you may be able to obtain Advanced Seminar credit of 1-credit, 2-credits, or 3-credits. You must attend two readings group per credit received. Credits can be accumulated over time and you will register for the course the term you wish to receive credit. You will also have to write a reaction paper to the books/content. For more information, contact Dr. Louis Hoffman.
